Treasury Officer

About the Role
- They are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Treasury Officer with a proven track record in fund mobilisation to join their team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving deposit mobilisation initiatives, managing treasury relationships, optimizing liquidity, and contributing to the organization's funding strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive deposit and investment fund mobilisation from individuals, corporate organizations, and institutional clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high-value deposit customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HNIs, corporate clients, and investment partners.
- Monitor liquidity positions and ensure adequate funding for business operations.
- Support treasury operations, cash flow management, and investment activities.
- Identify new business opportunities for treasury products and services.
- Prepare treasury reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal treasury policies.
- Collaborate with business development and relationship management teams to achieve funding targets.
- Monitor market trends, interest rates, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in Treasury, Fund Mobilisation, Deposit Mobilisation, or Relationship Management within a financial institution.
- Demonstrable success in mobilising substantial deposits and investment funds.
- Strong network of corporate clients, HNIs, and institutional investors will be a significant advantage.
- Excellent understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management, and financial markets.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Professional certifications such as CIBN, ACA, ACCA, CFA, or CIS will be an added advantage.
