Logistics Officer
Bell Oil and Gas Limited
Responsibilities
- Base operations coordination.
- Inbound and outbound goods validations and revalidations.
- Timely dispatch of validated goods.
- Form M and PAAR processing.
- Adherence to supply chain processes and procedures
- Weekly logistics reporting.
- Liaising with freight forwarders and clearing agents.
- Coordinating port operations in collaboration with clearing agents.
- Planning & Coordinating skills, including shipment scheduling, resource allocation, route optimization, and contingency planning.
- Understanding of the entire logistics process, from sourcing to warehousing and delivery.
- Risk and compliance management: Knowledge of import/export legislation and safety compliance issues.
- Oilfield materials management, including OCTG handling and storage.
- Coordinating transportation, delivery and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Person Specification
- University Degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Ideal candidate: Honest and hardworking, confident with good social skills, team player, resourceful, energetic, agile learner, detail-oriented.
- Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.
Required Competencies:
- Knowledge of transportation management is necessary for ensuring efficient movement of goods.
- Understanding and adhering to regulations related to global trade is required for international operations.
- Problem Solving skills, ability to quickly identify, analyse and resolve issues that arise in logistics operations.
- Effective Communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills, attention to detail
