Project Officer

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in line with business and client needs.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, QA specialists, business analysts, and vendors, to ensure effective project execution.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships, provide regular project updates, gather feedback, and ensure expectations are met.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, implementing appropriate mitigation and escalation actions.
- Monitor project progress, costs, resource utilization, and performance to ensure delivery within agreed scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
- Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality, security, compliance, and client requirements.
- Lead project meetings, reviews, and status reporting, ensuring timely resolution of project blockers.
- Coordinate project closure, client handover, post-project reviews, and implementation of lessons learned.
- Apply Agile methodologies where applicable, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and adoption of effective project management tools and delivery practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in project management, managing IT or business technology solutions projects.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects involving software development, system integration, or IT infrastructure
- Experience in managing client relationships, working with cross-functional teams, and delivering business-critical solutions.
- Experience in managing remote or distributed teams and projects.
