The Consumer Lending Officer is responsible for originating, assessing, and managing consumer loan applications while ensuring compliance with the bank's credit policies and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, achieving lending targets, and maintaining a high-quality loan portfolio. Key Responsibiles Market and promote the bank's consumer lending products. Source and onboard new loan customers. Assess loan applications and conduct credit analysis. Verify customer documentation and ensure compliance with lending policies. Recommend loan approvals within assigned authority limits. Monitor loan performance and support collections where necessary. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 2–5 years' experience in consumer lending, retail banking, or credit analysis. Strong understanding of consumer loan products and credit risk assessment. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong sales and customer relationship management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking/core lending systems.
