Rug Operations Officer

Job Summary

• As the Rug Operations Officer, you will oversee the end-to-end rug service process, coordinating collection, processing, quality control, client communication, documentation, and delivery while ensuring rugs are handled safely and service timelines are met.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rug pickups and deliveries, ensuring rugs are properly packaged, secured, transported, and documented for condition at collection and delivery
• Manage the end-to-end rug service process by coordinating with the cleaning/production team, monitoring processing according to rug material and condition, tracking turnaround times, and escalating delays
• Conduct quality checks before delivery, inspecting rugs for cleanliness, stains, odour, moisture, damage, finishing, and overall presentation
• Handle client emails and enquiries, communicate pickup/delivery schedules and job updates, manage complaints, and coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records and reports covering rugs received, processed, delivered, and pending, including customer details, rug descriptions, condition, processing status, complaints, damages, and delivery dates; ensure proper rug storage and handling throughout the process.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND, HND, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification
• Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver's licence
• Experience in operations, logistics, customer service, cleaning services, laundry, hospitality, facilities management, or related fields is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication, email correspondence, customer service, organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, email, WhatsApp, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, with strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Salary
N170,000 Monthly.
