Site Inspection Officer

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Inspector to oversee daily site activities, monitor material usage, and provide accurate progress updates.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong reporting skills, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and be able to maintain accurate records of site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily activities on the construction site to ensure work is progressing according to schedule.
- Keep accurate records of all materials delivered to and used on site.
- Track inventory and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit daily site progress reports to management.
- Update and maintain material usage records using Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient site operations.
- Report any site issues, delays, or observations that may affect project timelines.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities and material movement.
- Support management with any other site inspection and reporting duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a construction or site supervision role is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong record-keeping, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Salary
N150,000 per month.
