Senior Sales Executive

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive who is energetic, confident, target-driven, and passionate about sales and business development.
• The successful candidate will generate new business and develop relationships with customers, contractors, architects, property developers, real estate companies, and other potential clients.
• The candidate must be willing to actively prospect, make client visits, follow up on leads, promote Rotex products, and convert opportunities into confirmed sales.

Responsibilities
As Senior Sales Manager, your responsibilities shall include:
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships:

• Initiate and drive sales in line with approved business growth and collaboration strategies.
• Identify collaboration and sales opportunities through research, social media, industry publications, housing expos, tenders, and other relevant platforms.
• Based on your declared experience in the building industry, to build and maintain strategic relationships with professionals in the building industry, estate developers, architectural firms, interior designers, contractors, procurement agencies, and real estate marketers.
• Establish relationships with land and property agencies for access to first-hand information on allocations, developments, and upcoming projects.
• Investigate and monitor project timelines such as groundbreaking, foundation stages, and project execution phases for strategic market advantage.
• Research and analyse future business plans, procurement needs, and market opportunities within target industries and agencies.
• Establish sales relationship with government agencies by leveraging on the energy-saving impact of ROTEX products on Nigeria’s power challenges.
• Establish channels for engagement of clients from the Nigerian diaspora. Sales & Revenue Generation
• Drive business growth by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective leads into paying clients.
• Develop and maintain an all-year-round pipeline for B2B, B2C, collaborations,
• procurement opportunities, and supplies.
• Meet with prospective clients and collaborators to deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that encourage patronage.
• Prepare winning proposals, collaboration strategies, RFQs, RFPs, tender responses, bid documents, and sales quotations within approved turnaround timelines.
• Develop, recommend, and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and expand the client base.
• Maintain open communication with clients to encourage repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Coordinate regional sales activities and ensure effective implementation of approved sales and marketing strategies.

Marketing & Brand Representation:

• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, trade fairs, housing expos, and networking engagements.
• Establish and maintain strong visibility on relevant professional, digital, and social platforms.
• Drive all online and offline marketing and sales efforts aimed at improving customer acquisition and satisfaction.
• Develop marketing literature, campaign materials, presentations, and promotional content for sales activities.
• Serve as a Corporate Brand Ambassador and ensure strict compliance with company policies, standards, and ethical practices at all times.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

• Conduct routine market surveys and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, fast-moving products, and customer needs.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive database of clients, CEOs, founders, professionals, procurement contacts, transactions, awarded contracts, customer loyalty, and attrition metrics.
• Generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on market intelligence and business analysis.
• Provide regular sales performance reports, pipeline updates, and market feedback to management.

Team Leadership & Operations Coordination:

• Supervise sales coordinators, representatives, and future sales personnel in Lagos state to ensure high productivity and performance.
• Conduct regular product knowledge and sales training sessions for team members as required.
• Recognise, motivate, and support high-performing sales staff to improve morale and productivity.
• Initiate requirement gathering processes and maintain effective communication with the production and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate internal follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of products, services, proposals, and client requests.
• Performance Indicators
• Compliance of the sales team to company policies and standards of excellence and individual KPIs
• Winning proposals, solutions bid documents, and quotes within a 24hour turnaround time.
• Upward Sales Conversion rates and weekly/monthly progress
• Upward volume of sales and Revenue generation
• Weekly progress reports on sales and monthly projections on annual sales targets for all products/staff
• ▪Identify and bring on board one hundred and twenty (120) viable prospects per quarter and a minimum of 10% of these prospects must be converted into sales per month
• Monthly sales report which should include how business marketing strategy is being translated into the day-to-day marketing activities.
• Monthly reports on new clients demanding for the company’s products and services.
• Up to date database of current and prospective clients and current customers complete with names, addresses, and product requirements inputted into the Rotex CRM funnel.
• Monthly marketing reports which translate business marketing strategies into weekly sales progress
• Reports on new clients demanding for the company’s products

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 8-13 years experience.

Compensation

• Salary and Commission sum up to 2 million Naira per month
