Senior Marketing Officer

Role Purpose

• As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Marketing Officer to lead targeted marketing and client engagement initiatives across our Institutional/Corporate, HNI and SME segments.
• The Senior Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing strategies to identify, engage and nurture prospective institutional, corporate, HNI and SME clients.
• The role will support market expansion, lead generation, investor engagement and the growth of DPH's investment and financial services business.
• The successful candidate must possess strong knowledge of the financial services market, excellent relationship-building skills and a proven ability to engage senior decision-makers and convert market opportunities into qualified business leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute segment-specific marketing strategies for institutional, corporate, HNI and SME clients.
• Identify and develop relationships with prospective clients, investors, institutions and strategic business partners.
• Generate and nurture qualified leads through direct marketing, referrals, networking, events, digital channels and strategic relationships.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, pitch materials and marketing communications tailored to different client segments.
• Arrange and participate in client meetings, investor engagements, business forums, conferences and industry events.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities.
• Work closely with the Sales, Business Development, Investment and Corporate Communications teams to convert qualified opportunities.
• Promote DPH's investment products, financial solutions and advisory services in line with approved marketing strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, business owners, institutional representatives, investors and other key decision-makers.

Educational & Professional Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Public Relations or a related discipline.
• A Master's degree/MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field will be an advantage.
• 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in marketing, relationship management, business development or client acquisition, preferably within investment management, asset management, banking, financial services or capital markets.
• Professional certification or membership with a recognised body such as CIM, NIMN, NIM, or a related professional institution is desirable.
• Additional training or certification in financial services, investment management, relationship management, business development or digital marketing will be an advantage.
• Demonstrable experience marketing financial products or professional services to institutional/corporate clients, HNIs and SMEs.
• Proven track record of generating qualified leads and developing high-value client relationships.
• Experience engaging C-suite executives, business owners, institutional decision-makers, investors and senior professionals.
• Strong understanding of investment products, financial services and the Nigerian business environment.
• Existing professional networks within the institutional, corporate, HNI and/or SME segments will be an advantage.
