NYSC Intern - Accountant

Job Summary
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated NYSC corps member to join our team in an Accounting capacity.
- The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of basic accounting operations, is organised, reliable, and able to handle financial records with accuracy and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and proper documentation of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and petty cash records
- Assist with expense tracking, reconciliations, and maintaining organised financial records
- Help ensure accurate filing and record-keeping for all financial documents
- Assist in preparing simple financial summaries and reports when required
- Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Must be a currently serving NYSC corps member
- A Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Very strong analytical skills, especially in tracking financial data
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any other accounting related software.
- Organised, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
