Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- ICAN or ACCA certification (fully qualified or at the professional/final stage preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, statutory compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- High level of accuracy, analytical ability, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, PAYE, pension, and other employee-related financial transactions.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of statutory obligations, including VAT, WHT, CIT, FIRS, LIRS, and pension remittances.
- Track property and land sales revenue, customer installment payments, agent commissions, and related reconciliations.
- Prepare budgets, cash flow reports, and management accounts to support business decision-making.
- Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
