HR / Operations Officer

About the Role
- This role sits at the intersection of people management and business operations — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail/fashion environment and can balance HR responsibilities with day-to-day operational execution.
Key Responsibilities|
HR Functions:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for store and back-office staff
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Handle payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management
- Support performance management and staff development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Address employee relations issues and foster a positive work culture.
Operations Functions:
- Oversee daily store/warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Manage inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and supply coordination
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Support process improvement across production, sales, and distribution
- Monitor operational costs and support budget adherence
- Assist in implementing SOPs to improve efficiency across departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
- 2 - 4 years experience in HR and/or operations, preferably in retail, fashion, or FMCG
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Knowledge of Nigerian labor law is an advantage
- SHRM/CIPM certification is a plus but not required.
