Operations Officer (Retail)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Officer to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of our client's pharmaceutical business.
- The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, effective inventory management, and seamless coordination across departments to support business growth and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth business operations. - Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant teams to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pharmaceutical regulations, and operational procedures.
- Prepare and submit operational reports to management.
- Supervise and support staff to ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, sales, and other departments to achieve operational objectives.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements. - Monitor the maintenance of facilities, equipment, and operational resources. - Ensure accurate documentation and proper record-keeping.
- Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Operations Management, Pharmacy, or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operations role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industry.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
