Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary
- We are seeking experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Managers to lead the rollout and commercial performance of our client's Agency Banking and POS business across assigned regions in Nigeria.
- The successful candidates will be responsible for driving merchant and agent acquisition, POS terminal deployment and utilization, transaction growth, customer retention, and revenue performance while leading State Coordinators and Direct Sales Agents (DSAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales and market expansion strategies.
- Drive merchant and agent acquisition, onboarding, activation, and retention.
- Oversee POS terminal deployment, utilization, and portfolio performance.
- Lead, coach, and manage State Coordinators, and DSAs to achieve regional targets.
- Build strategic partnerships to expand market reach and business growth.
- Monitor sales performance, transaction volumes, and revenue, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensureregional compliance with KYC/KYB, AML and terminal deploymentand risk management standards.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, market intelligence, and performance analytics.
- Represent locally with state-level stakeholders, regulators and strategic partners as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 7–10 years' experience in fintech, agency banking, POS acquiring, merchant acquisition, or financial services sales, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.
- Master's Degree is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of scaling POS and agency banking businesses and managing multi-state sales operations.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Good understanding of the Nigerian fintech ecosystem, CBN regulations, and agency banking operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
