Facility Officer

Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our facilities.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all building systems, equipment, and utilities are functioning optimally through preventive maintenance, vendor management, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• This role is ideal for candidates with an engineering background who are passionate about creating safe, functional, and cost-efficient work environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Monitor utilities, maintenance budgets, and facility costs.
• Manage facility assets and workspace utilization.
• Prepare facility reports and maintenance documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Building Services) or a closely related discipline.
• 2–4 years' experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance, HSE standards, and vendor management.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
