Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Industrial Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial plumbing, piping, and utility systems within our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair industrial piping and plumbing systems
- Maintain water supply, drainage, pumps, valves and utility lines
- Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages and pressure problems
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
- Assist with installation and modification of piping systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of an OND, Trade Test, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing or a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Industrial Plumber
- Industrial/manufacturing experience is required
- Good knowledge of pumps, valves, tanks, fittings and piping systems
- Ability to troubleshoot plumbing and utility faults
- Ability to read and interpret piping layouts/drawings
- Good pipe fitting, joining and installation skills
- Basic welding, fabrication and pipe-support installation skills
- Technical or professional certification in plumbing or pipe fitting
Added Advantage:
- Experience in agro-processing, food processing or manufacturing
- Knowledge of compressed air, hot-water/steam and industrial drainage systems.
