Crushing Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the palm kernel crushing plant to achieve production targets.
- Ensure efficient extraction of Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) and Palm Kernel Cake (PKC) while minimizing production losses.
- Monitor plant performance and optimize machine efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and production procedures.
- Enforce HSE policies and strict PPE compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production, maintenance and inventory reports.
- Manage manpower, production schedules and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Possess a B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or a related discipline with at least 8 years’ relevant experience in palm kernel crushing, and at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of palm kernel crushing operations, plant equipment, maintenance and quality management.
- Excellent leadership, people management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Nigerian regulatory requirements, HSE standards and industry best practices.
Salary
N600,000 - N800,000 monthly.
