Machine Operator (Beamsaw Machine, Brimmer Machine, CNC Machine)

Key Responsibilities
- Operate woodworking and furniture-production machines such as panel saws, edge banders, CNC machines, drilling machines, routers, planers, sanders, and cutting machines.
- Set up machines according to production specifications and work orders.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve the required dimensions and finishing quality.
- Process wood, MDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, and other furniture materials.
- Ensure materials are cut and processed accurately according to drawings or production specifications.
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting required quality standards.
- Inspect finished and semi-finished components for correct dimensions, alignment, finishing, and defects.
- Identify defective materials or machine-related quality issues and report them promptly.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Assist maintenance personnel during machine repairs when required.
- Follow all factory safety procedures and machine operating instructions.
- Minimize material wastage through accurate machine operation and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate daily machine-operation and production records.
Requirements
- Machine operation and technical ability
- Understanding of woodworking/furniture production processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Available to resume immediately
- Candidate resident in Epe axis is an added advantage
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to read production drawings/specifications
- Safety awareness
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
