Sales Representative - Embroidery Business

Job Summary

• We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to promote and sell our embroidery services and products.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for finding new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, preparing quotations, following up on leads, and achieving sales targets.
• The ideal candidate should have strong communication and negotiation skills, be confident approaching businesses and individuals, and have an understanding of embroidery, branding, uniforms, promotional products, or the fashion/apparel industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities through calls, social media, referrals, networking, and direct visits to businesses.
• Promote the company's embroidery services, including branded uniforms, caps, shirts, workwear, school uniforms, corporate gifts, and other embroidered products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products, pricing, turnaround times, and services.
• Prepare and send quotations to customers and follow up to convert inquiries into orders.
• Understand customers' branding and embroidery requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Coordinate with the embroidery and production teams to ensure customer orders are completed according to specifications.
• Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customers, quotations, orders, and sales activities.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, and potential customer segments to identify new business opportunities.
• Attend exhibitions, business networking events, markets, and other promotional activities when required.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and work with the appropriate team to resolve issues.
• Provide regular sales reports to management.

• Monthly sales revenue achieved.
• Number of new customers acquired.
• Number of qualified leads generated.
• Conversion rate of inquiries to orders.

• Customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years of sales experience; experience in embroidery, garment branding, fashion, printing, uniforms, or a related industry is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills.
• Good negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Proactive, confident, energetic, and presentable.
• Basic computer and social media skills.
• Ability to use WhatsApp, email, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms for customer communication and lead generation.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Must be willing to make calls, visit prospective customers, and actively generate new business.

Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate is someone who is sales-driven, confident, persuasive, hardworking, and comfortable approaching both individuals and businesses.
• Experience selling branded clothing, corporate uniforms, promotional products, or embroidery services will be highly valued.

Compensation

• Basic salary: N100,000 monthly
• Commission: 8% to 10% of target volume.
