Experienced Accountant (Real Estate)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations within our real estate business.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, project cost tracking, tax compliance, and ensuring accurate financial management across multiple properties and developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage daily accounting operations, including receivables and payables
- Track project costs, budgets, and profitability for real estate developments
- Monitor client payments, rent collections, and service charges
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT, Company Income Tax)
- Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Advise management on financial planning and cost control strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Must have 3-7 years accounting experience (real estate experience preferred)
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN) is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel
- Good understanding of real estate accounting (property costing, rent, service charges)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to drive with a valid driver's license (added advantage).
