Junior Accountant

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations.
- The successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist with payroll and expense processing where required.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and support payment follow-ups.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Assist auditors and senior finance staff with required documentation and information.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
What We Offer
- N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
