Job Description

• We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Senior Specialist, Digital Marketing with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Specialist, Digital Marketing will play a critical role in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, generate quality leads, and increase online engagement across key digital channels.

He/she is expected to;

• Set up, manage, and continuously optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn, ensuring that each campaign is aligned with institutional goals, targets the right audiences, and delivers measurable ROI.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities and gaps in the digital landscape.
• Implement comprehensive SEO strategies covering both on-page and off-page optimization. Continuously track search performance to improve website visibility, organic traffic flow, and long-term search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and maintain social media content calendars that align with campaigns and events. Schedule posts for maximum visibility and engagement across multiple platforms.
• Engage directly with audiences, respond to inquiries, and nurture online communities to build trust and strengthen brand positioning.
• Design, manage, and optimize campaign landing pages that are user-friendly, visually appealing, and conversion focused. Ensure that all tracking mechanisms are properly set up through Google Tag Manager, UTM parameters, and related tools.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using key metrics such as CPC, CTR, conversion rates, ROAS, and lead quality. Generate detailed reports that highlight trends, successes, and opportunities for refinement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to guide data-driven marketing decisions and resource allocation.
• Plan, execute, and refine targeted email marketing campaigns designed to engage, inform, and convert audiences. Utilize advanced segmentation techniques, personalization strategies, and automation workflows through tools like Mailchimp.
• Support website management by performing CMS updates, uploading fresh content, and making basic page adjustments as required. Ensure content is accurate, visually appealing, and consistent with brand guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with academic and administrative units to keep the website engaging, functional, and aligned with institutional priorities.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, innovations, and policy changes in digital marketing and advertising platforms. Research evolving algorithms, industry best practices, and competitor strategies to inform new approaches. Apply these insights to maintain competitiveness, enhance campaign performance, and strengthen digital visibility.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
• Must heve 5–8 years of relevant experience depending on the seniority of the role.
• Demonstrated success in similar roles within a tertiary institution or comparable environment
