Job Description
- We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially focused professional to lead our Cargo Business in Nigeria.
- The ideal candidate should be a strategic leader with proven expertise in air cargo, logistics, and revenue generation.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our cargo operations, driving profitability, and positioning the cargo unit as a major contributor to the airline’s overall growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow cargo revenue and market share
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across domestic, regional, and international markets
- Build strong partnerships with freight forwarders, exporters, logistics companies, and government agencies
- Oversee end-to-end cargo operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance
- Optimize pricing, capacity utilization, and service offerings
- Drive financial performance, cost control, and profitability
- Lead and develop a high-performing cargo team
Requirements
- Extensive experience in air cargo, logistics, or freight operations
- Proven success in revenue generation and business development
- Strong understanding of NCAA, ICAO, and IATA cargo regulations
- Demonstrated leadership in operational and commercial management
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills
