Job Description
- The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, cybersecurity, and technical support operations.
- The role will ensure that all IT systems are secure, reliable, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, networks, and communication systems.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and ensure reliable connectivity across the organization.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, permissions, and IT security measures.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Ensure regular data backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, software licenses, and technology contracts.
- Monitor and maintain IT assets and ensure proper inventory records.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and acceptable-use standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and information security requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT systems, processes, and overall operational efficiency.
- Prepare IT reports, budgets, and recommendations for management.
- Lead and supervise IT support staff where applicable.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions for the organization.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, and software systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple IT projects and priorities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, networking, and cloud-based systems.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 Per Month.
