Sales Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES EXECUTIVE

Location: Twenty One Park Mall, Ademola Adetokunbo, Wuse Abuja.

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Reports To: Business Owner

Compensation: ₦150,000 monthly base salary

About the Role

Our client is a luxury fashion fabrics store in Wuse 2. It supplies quality fabrics for personal use, tailoring, fashion design and commercial buyers. They want a proactive, customer-focused Sales & Digital Marketing Executive to drive in-store and online sales, build lasting customer relationships, and run the store’s social media.

The ideal candidate enjoys selling, loves fashion and textiles, and can win customers face to face and online.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of the store’s fabrics by engaging walk-in customers, responding to enquiries and identifying new sales opportunities.
  
• Understand customers’ fabric requirements, preferences, budgets and intended use, and recommend suitable options.
  

• Provide accurate information on fabric types, colors, textures, prices, availability and product care where applicable.
  
• Follow up with customers by phone and WhatsApp to build repeat business and a loyal client base.
  
• Turn enquiries into sales and work towards monthly sales targets.
  

• Manage the store’s online presence, including its social media pages and other approved digital sales platforms.
  

• Manage the store’s social media pages (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and WhatsApp Business catalogue.
• Plan and publish regular content: product photos, short videos, new arrivals, promotions and styling ideas.
• Respond quickly to online enquiries, DMs and comments with accurate product and pricing information, and close online sales.
• Coordinate online orders, payment confirmation and delivery or pick-up.

• Respond promptly to online enquiries, direct messages and comments, providing accurate product information and pricing.
  

• Process sales and payments accurately (cash, transfer, POS) in line with store procedures.
  

• Keep the shop floor and fabric displays neat, well arranged and appealing.
• Keep accurate records of sales, orders, payments and customer follow-ups.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock or fast-selling items to the Store Manager.
  

Skills and Competencies

• Strong spoken and written English; confident face-to-face and online.
• Excellent customer service, persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in selling products and converting enquiries into purchases.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok)
• Basic content creation: phone photography and video, simple editing (e.g. Canva, CapCut) and catchy captions.
• Attention to detail, integrity and professional conduct.

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc, HND or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Mass Communication or a related field.
  
• 1-3 years experience in sales, retail, customer service, digital marketing preferably in fashion, fabrics or premium retail.
  
• Experience managing a business's social media pages or online sales is an advantage.
  
• Knowledge of fashion fabrics or the fashion industry is desirable.
