Restaurant & Bar Manager

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and bar.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high operational standards, managing teams effectively, and driving revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
• Lead, train, motivate, and manage front-of-house and bar staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Manage sales, revenue, budgets, and operational costs.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and hospitality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, finance, and other departments.
• Prepare and review operational reports, staff schedules, and performance targets.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, service, and overall guest experience.
• Ensure responsible and efficient bar operations, including stock control and beverage quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery, and profitability.

Requirements

• 7–9 years of proven experience in restaurant, bar, hotel, or related hospitality management.
• Demonstrated experience managing restaurant and/or bar operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
• Good knowledge of hospitality operations, customer service, and cost control.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and revenue generation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service orientation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Candidates based in Abuja or willing to relocate are preferred.

Salary and Benefits

• N300,000 – N500,000 per month depending on experience and suitability.
