Social Media Manager

Main Function

• The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and growing the hotel's brand presence across social media platforms, creating engaging content, and protecting the hotel's online reputation.

Role Responsibilities
Content & Platform Management:

• Develop and execute a content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Create engaging, on-brand content including photos, videos, and copy.
• Manage day-to-day posting, community engagement, and comment/message responses.
• Coordinate with photographers/videographers for content shoots.

Campaigns & Analytics:

• Plan and manage paid social media campaigns and promotions.
• Track engagement, reach, and conversion analytics; report on performance.
• Identify and manage relationships with relevant influencers and content creators.

Reputation Management:

• Monitor online mentions, reviews, and brand sentiment.
• Respond to and escalate online complaints in coordination with the relevant department.
• Support crisis communication on social platforms when required.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years' experience managing social media for a brand, with a demonstrable portfolio; hospitality/luxury brand experience is an advantage.

Skills
Technical Skills:

• Content creation and copywriting
• Social media analytics tools
• Basic graphic design/video editing (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe)
• Paid social advertising.
