Sales Strategist

The Sales Strategist is responsible for designing and implementing data-driven sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share. This role bridges the gap between high-level business goals and day-to-day sales execution, focusing on optimizing the sales funnel, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring the sales team has the tools and tactics necessary to close deals effectively. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Market Analysis Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational financial targets. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor movements, and new customer segments. Analyze historical sales data to forecast future performance and set realistic, challenging quotas. 2. Process Optimization Refine the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and qualification to closing and retention. Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and implement solutions to improve conversion rates. Collaborate with Marketing to ensure lead quality and seamless hand-off protocols. 3. Performance Management & Reporting Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), and pipeline velocity. Prepare weekly and monthly reports for executive leadership regarding sales performance and strategic pivots. Evaluate the effectiveness of different sales channels (e.g., direct sales, digital platforms, partnerships). 4. Enablement & Content Integration Work with content creators to develop sales collateral, pitch decks, and scripts that resonate with target personas. Train the sales team on new strategic initiatives, value propositions, and closing techniques.
