Job Summary
- We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our furniture production team as Factory staff in the following capacities: Upholstery, Laminate etc.
- The Furniture Factory Staff will assist in the manufacturing, assembling, finishing, and packaging of furniture products while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the production and assembly of furniture items.
- Operate factory tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Cut, shape, sand, and polish wood and other materials as required.
- Support upholstery, painting, or finishing processes when needed.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the factory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow workplace safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Report faulty equipment or production issues to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification with 1 - 2 years experience.
- Previous factory or furniture-making experience.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
