Summary

• Beautiful Beginning Academy is seeking a skilled, creative, and responsible Chef to join our team and oversee the preparation of delicious, nutritious, and hygienically prepared meals and snacks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks for students and staff.
• Plan menus and meal schedules based on nutritional needs and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, hygiene, and presentation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of food items.
• Monitor kitchen supplies and communicate when ingredients need to be restocked.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Prepare a variety of local and continental meals, snacks, and refreshments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to prepare a variety of healthy and tasty meals and snacks.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy school environment.
• Culinary training or relevant certification is an added advantage.
• Experience working in a school, boarding school, hotel, or similar environment is an added advantage.

• Someone who is passionate about cooking, creative with meals and snacks, hygienic, reliable, and committed to preparing healthy and delicious food for students.

Salary
N250,000 monthly.
