Facility Manager

Cen Global Services Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the efficient management, maintenance, and operation of company and client-managed facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, supervising contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and delivering high-quality facility management services.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day management and maintenance of company and client facilities.

• Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained.

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.

• Monitor facility operations and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Respond promptly to facility-related issues and coordinate timely resolution.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset registers, and facility reports.

• Support the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.

• Professional certification from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), such as Facility Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) , is required.

• Minimum of 2–3 years' relevant experience in facility management or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance practices, and asset management.

• Excellent vendor, contractor, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

• Applicants residing in Port Harcourt or its environs will be given priority.
