Social Media Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to develop and execute engaging social media strategies that strengthen our brand presence, grow our online community, and drive measurable business results.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing social media platforms, creating compelling content, analyzing performance, and staying current with digital marketing trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company’s brand and business objectives.
• Manage daily content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
• Create, curate, and publish engaging content, including posts, reels, videos, graphics, stories, and campaigns.
• Develop monthly content calendars and ensure timely content delivery.
• Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities.
• Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions professionally.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and other teams to produce quality content.
• Track and analyze social media performance using relevant analytics tools.
• Prepare regular reports on engagement, reach, follower growth, leads, and other key metrics.
• Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns where required.
• Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
• Maintain consistency in the company's brand voice, visual identity, and messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Excellent content creation, copywriting, and communication skills.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar content creation software.
• Basic understanding of social media advertising and campaign management.
• Ability to interpret social media analytics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Candidates must be based in Abuja or willing to work from Abuja.

Preferred Skills:

• Short-form video creation and editing.
• Photography/videography skills.
• Social media advertising and audience targeting.
• Influencer and creator management.
• SEO and digital marketing knowledge.
• Experience managing a corporate or consumer-facing brand.
