Regional Sales and Distribution Officer
EML Distributors Nigeria Limited (EMLD) (5 Openings)
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales strategies to achieve regional revenue & volume targets.
- Build & manage relationships with key accounts, including retail chains, distributors, HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, Café) clients, and specialty wine shops.
- Conduct sales forecasting.
Distribution Management:
- Oversee regional logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Develop and manage distribution networks to maximize market coverage and minimize stock-outs.
- Coordinate with HQ logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Market Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and untapped markets.
- Conduct competitor analysis and stay updated with market trends and customer preferences.
- Lead promotional activities, in-store activations, and brand visibility campaigns.
- Support marketing campaigns and in-store promotional activities.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, distribution efficiency, and market feedback.
- Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping of sales transactions and inventory.
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Gather market data and customer feedback to drive strategic business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 5–7 years of experience in FMCG or alcoholic beverage sales.
- Proven track record of sales and distribution success in Nigeria.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian alcohol and spirit landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a national sales territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools (e.g., CRM).
Salary
N400,000 Monthly.
