Job title : Travel Sales Officer - Holidey/Holideysports

The ideal candidate will be passionate about travel, highly commercially minded, confident dealing with customers, and capable of turning travel inquiries into confirmed bookings and revenue.

This is a  sales and business-development-oriented position for someone who enjoys selling experiences, building customer relationships, generating leads, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Generate and convert leads for Holidey and HolideySports travel products.
• Respond promptly to inquiries through WhatsApp, telephone, email, social media, and other digital channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable holiday, group, sports, and destination packages.
• Prepare and present professional quotations, itineraries, proposals, and package options.
• Follow up consistently on quotations and prospective customers to maximise conversion.
• Close sales and achieve assigned monthly revenue and booking targets.
• Upsell and cross-sell flights, hotels, transfers, tours, insurance, visa assistance, and other travel services.
• Develop repeat business and generate referrals from existing customers.

Holidey Sales

• Promote and sell international and domestic holiday packages.
• Sell family holidays, couple getaways, group holidays, luxury escapes, beach holidays, city breaks, and seasonal packages.
• Promote destination campaigns and special offers.
• Assist customers in selecting destinations, hotels, activities, and travel experiences within their budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with leisure travellers, families, groups, corporate clients, and other customer segments.

HolideySports Sales

• Promote travel packages around major sporting events and tournaments.
• Sell sports travel packages covering flights, accommodation, match/event access where applicable, transfers, tours, and other travel services.
• Engage football fans, sports enthusiasts, supporter groups, clubs, corporate groups, and event travellers.
• Identify upcoming sporting events that present opportunities for travel packages.
• Build and maintain a database of sports-travel prospects and customers.
• Support campaigns around major football, basketball, tennis, motorsport, and other international sporting events.
• Develop group and fan-travel opportunities around major sporting occasions.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with customers from initial inquiry through post-travel follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, bookings, payments, and customer interactions.
• Follow up with previous customers to generate repeat holiday and sports-travel bookings.
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally.
• Ensure customers receive accurate information regarding destinations, travel requirements, package inclusions, and booking conditions.

Marketing & Lead Generation

• Actively promote Holidey and HolideySports products through WhatsApp, social media, email, referrals, and other channels.
• Work with the marketing team to promote seasonal campaigns, destination offers, sports events, and travel deals.
• Identify new customer segments and sales opportunities.
• Monitor competitor packages, pricing, destinations, and promotional activities.
• Provide feedback on customer demand and emerging travel trends.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in:
  • Marketing
  • Business Administration
  • Travel & Tourism
  • Hospitality Management
  • Mass Communication
  • Or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years' experience in travel sales, tourism, hospitality, leisure, events, or a related sales environment.
• Experience selling holiday packages, international travel, group travel, or sports/event travel is highly desirable.
• Experience working with high-value customers or group bookings is an advantage.
• Strong interest and knowledge of international destinations and major sporting events is an advantage.
