Credit Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Review and appraise loan applications.
- Analyse customer income, cash flow and repayment capacity.
- Conduct customer/business verification and credit checks.
- Prepare credit appraisals and loan recommendations.
- Ensure complete and accurate loan documentation.
- Support digital loan processing and underwriting.
- Monitor loan performance and identify early warning signs.
- Follow up overdue accounts and support recovery activities.
- Maintain accurate credit records and ensure policy compliance.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
- 2–5 years' experience in credit/lending.
- MFB, fintech, digital lending, retail banking or SME lending experience preferred.
- Good understanding of credit appraisal and financial analysis.
- Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel and digital banking systems.
