About the Role
- We are looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services required for our solar and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure solar, electrical, technical, office, and project-related materials.
- Obtain, compare, and negotiate supplier quotations and pricing.
- Identify and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
- Raise and track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Verify that purchased items meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Work closely with Project, Technical, Finance, and Stores teams to meet procurement needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and approved budgets.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 2 - 3 years experience.
- Experience procuring solar, electrical, engineering, or construction materials is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to follow up effectively.
