JOB TITLE: Account Officer

LOCATION: Ikeja, Lagos (Applicants must reside within Ikeja and its environs)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

SALARY: N100,000 monthly

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Officer to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  
• Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
  
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
  
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
  
• Maintain proper filing of financial records and supporting documents.
  
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  
• Process petty cash transactions and expense reports.
  
• Support payroll preparation where required.
  
• Assist during internal and external audits.
  
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  
• Handle day-to-day transactional accounting activities.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• NYSC serving corps members and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
  
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
  
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  
• Must reside in Ikeja or its environs.
