Job Title: Entry Level Account Assistant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos (Applicants must reside within Ikeja and its environs)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: N100,000 monthly
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Officer to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Maintain proper filing of financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Process petty cash transactions and expense reports.
- Support payroll preparation where required.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Handle day-to-day transactional accounting activities.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- NYSC serving corps members and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Must reside in Ikeja or its environs.
