Head, Power Training & Consulting

What You'll Own
- Provide strategic and business leadership for the firm's power sector practice, spanning training programmes and engineering consulting engagements
- Own full P&L responsibility for the power practice, including budgeting, cost control and profit management
- Lead business development from the front — personally driving new client acquisition, key account relationships and strategic partnerships alongside the BD team
- Set strategic direction and quality standards for technical training curricula and courses covering generation, transmission and distribution
- Own relationships with DISCOs, GENCOs, TCN, IPPs and regulatory bodies (NERC) at executive level
- Drive performance management across the power practice — setting KPIs, monitoring delivery and building team capability
- Build, mentor and manage the power engineering and training leadership team
Requirements
- B.Eng / B.Sc in Electrical/Power Engineering; MBA/M.Sc strongly preferred
- COREN registration required
- Deep working knowledge of NERC regulations and grid codes
- Minimum 15 years' cognate experience in the power sector (generation, transmission, distribution)
- Proven track record in strategic and business management, including P&L, budget and profit management
- Demonstrated success leading business development and winning new business at executive level
- Strong background in performance management and building high-performing team.
