Digital and Communications Officer (Volunteer)
Creative Youths Initiative - Remote
About the Role
- We are seeking a creative and proactive Digital & Communications Officer to help grow our digital presence, communicate our impact and engage young people and partners across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Crea8 Africa’s social media presence.
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, captions and campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a simple content calendar.
- Support website updates, newsletters and digital communications.
- Promote Crea8 Africa’s programmes, opportunities, partnerships and impact.
- Monitor digital engagement and provide simple performance insights.
- Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and an understanding of social media and digital trends.
- Experience with Canva and social media platforms.
- Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
- Passion for youth development, innovation, creativity and social impact.
Commitment:
- Approximately 5–8 hours per week. Unpaid volunteer position.
