Vehicle & Facilities Management Executive - Abuja

Job Summary

• The role focuses on coordinating vehicle operations, basic facility maintenance, vendor supervision, asset tracking, and ensuring that company facilities and vehicles are safe, functional, and well-maintained to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Management Support:

• Support scheduling of vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, and repairs.
• Report vehicle faults, damages, accidents, or compliance issues promptly.
• Assist in maintaining records for vehicle documents (insurance, roadworthiness, and licenses).

Facility Support & Monitoring:

• Support daily monitoring of office buildings, branches, and common areas.
• Identify and report facility faults, damages, and safety issues.
• Assist with routine inspections of facilities and company assets.
• Ensure utilities such as power, water, and internet are functioning properly.

Maintenance & Repairs Coordination:

• Log maintenance and repair requests for vehicles and facilities.
• Assist in coordinating minor repairs (electrical, plumbing, furniture, fittings).
• Liaise with mechanics, technicians, cleaners, and security personnel.
• Escalate major vehicle or facility issues to the Manager promptly.

Vendor & Service Provider Support:

• Support supervision of vendors such as vehicle service providers, cleaners, security, and maintenance contractors.
• Confirm completion of assigned tasks and report service quality issues.
• Ensure vendors comply with agreed schedules and service standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Support basic health and safety practices within company facilities.
• Ensure fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and safety signage are available and reported if faulty.
• Support compliance with vehicle safety and operational standards.
• Promote cleanliness, orderliness, and proper use of company facilities and vehicles.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain simple logs for vehicle usage, repairs, servicing, and inspections.
• Keep records of facility maintenance activities and vendor visits.
• Assist in preparing basic vehicle and facility management reports.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education:

• OND / HND / BSc in Transport Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Estate Management, Building Technology, or a related field (or relevant hands-on experience).

Experience:

• 2–3years’ experience in vehicle coordination, facility support, office administration, or operations is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of vehicle operations and facility maintenance
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email)

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
