Business Development & Client Relations Manager

About Pink Ivory Catering
You will be the face of Pink Ivory to our corporate clients, responsible for finding and winning new corporate event business, managing client relationships from first enquiry to final event, and ensuring existing lunch clients remain happy and engaged.
You'll serve as the primary contact for Pink Ivory's corporate clients, driving new business acquisition and nurturing existing relationships. This involves everything from initial enquiry to successful event delivery, requiring close coordination with our kitchen and operations teams. You will have a direct impact on the growth of our corporate events segment, with the chance to shape and expand this vital area of the business.
What you'll do
- Identify and pursue new corporate clients, including offices, HR and admin teams, event planners, and conference venues.
- Pitch our catering services, prepare compelling quotes and proposals, and effectively close deals.
- Grow event bookings and secure repeat business from existing daily lunch clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the entire event lifecycle: before, during, and after.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen and operations team to ensure every event is delivered precisely as promised.
- Maintain organised records of leads, bookings, client feedback, and follow-ups.
- Report regularly on your sales pipeline, bookings, and revenue performance against established targets.
Requirements
- You have 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the hospitality, catering, or events sector.
- You are a confident and professional communicator, comfortable and effective in meetings with senior clients.
- You are highly organised, capable of managing multiple clients and events simultaneously without overlooking critical details.
- You are self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrable track record of successfully bringing in new business.
