Business Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new clients, projects, markets, and business opportunities within the construction and renovation industry.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, site visits, industry events, research, and direct outreach.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand project requirements and business opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial presentations.
- Negotiate with prospects and follow up consistently to convert opportunities into business.
- Maintain an active business development pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Work closely with project and technical teams to develop solutions and convert opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts and secure repeat business.
- Achieve agreed business development, revenue, and client acquisition targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, business development, sales, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, client acquisition, or relationship management.
- Good understanding of the construction and renovation industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant CRM/business development tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
- Must be able to commute to Ikeja, Lagos, conveniently.
Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
