Procurement Officer

About the Role
- We are looking for a detail-orientated and results-driven procurement officer to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective purchasing and delivery of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and driving procurement efficiency across the organisation.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish and manage key supplier agreements to ensure the best value for the organisation
- Develop, control, and improve purchasing processes and procurement compliance
- Coordinate and monitor the tendering and quotation process
- Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts for goods, equipment, and services
- Maintain accurate vendor and stock databases for effective reporting
- Coordinate the acquisition and disposal of company vehicles and office equipment
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and procurement regulations
- Provide procurement advice and support to management and staff
- Monitor procurement trends and implement continuous improvements
Requirements
- Education: First degree in any management discipline from a recognised institution
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in warehouse, storage, or procurement operations
- Professional Membership: Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) is an advantage
