Operations & Kitchen Manager

Role Overview

• A growing Nigerian food business is seeking a competent, hands-on, and highly organised professional to join our team in Lagos.
• The successful candidate will oversee daily kitchen and production operations, supervise kitchen employees, manage inventory, coordinate supplies to multiple outlets, and ensure consistent food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily food preparation, production, packaging, and dispatch.
• Supervise kitchen employees and monitor productivity.
• Manage inventory, stock records, and production documentation.
• Coordinate product supplies and deliveries to outlets.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, and food safety standards.
• Support operational administration and business coordination.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in Nigerian food production, restaurants, catering, or central kitchens.
• Knowledge of amala, traditional soups, and meat preparation.
• Experience supervising kitchen or production teams.
• Strong organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other basic digital tools.
