Role Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven Project Engineer to coordinate engineering and project execution activities, ensuring Oil & Gas projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Monitor project scope, schedules, costs, milestones, quality, and HSE performance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, vendors, consultants, and clients.
- Review P&IDs, engineering drawings, specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation.
- Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Identify project risks, technical issues, and delays, and support mitigation measures.
- Prepare project progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Support change management, cost control, contractor performance, and project close-out.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant Project Engineering experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Energy, or related industries.
- Proven experience in project execution from engineering/design through construction and commissioning.
- Good knowledge of API, ASME, IEC, ISO, and applicable industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is an advantage.
- Strong project coordination, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- COREN registration or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
