B2B Tele Sales Representative

TELE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - COMPLETE STAFF JD PACK

JOB DESCRIPTION (JD) A. Job Title Tele Sales Representative (Sales Closer) B. Reporting To Sales Manager C. Job Summary The Sales Representative is responsible for attending to all assigned customer inquiries and leads, following them up via calls, WhatsApp, and messages, and converting them into paying customers. This role focuses strictly on conversion - turning leads into buyers for:
  • Products
  • Distributor registrations
  • Contract manufacturing
  • Stockist registrations
  • Training (Trion life Academy, product training, business training, etc.)
The Sales Rep is performance-driven and works with clear conversion benchmarks and monthly delivery targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend to all assigned leads promptly
  • Call, message, and follow up customers until conversion
● Convert leads into buyers for:
  • Products
  • Distributor packages
  • Contract manufacturing
  • Stockist packages
  • Trainings and programs
  • Explain products, pricing, and offers clearly
  • Handle objections professionally
  • Follow approved sales scripts and pricing
  • Ensure no assigned lead is abandoned
  • Update sales status for every lead
  • Report daily sales activities to Sales Manager
DAILY / WEEKLY / MONTHLY KPIs / DAILY KPIs
  • 100% follow-up on assigned leads
  • Response time to new leads: within 5–10 minutes
  • Minimum daily conversion activity logged
  • Daily sales report submission
WEEKLY KPIs
  • Weekly lead-to-customer conversion tracking
  • Follow-up completion on pending leads
  • Weekly sales performance review
MONTHLY KPIs ● Monthly Target: ○ 200 successful order deliveries / conversions or N5m in sales ● Conversion Rate Benchmarks:
  • Below 40% → Very Poor
  • 40% – 49% → Not Acceptable
  • 50% – 69% → Acceptable / Good
  • 70% – 79% → Very Good
  • 80% – 100% → Excellent
Minimum acceptable conversion rate: 70% Anything below 60% is not acceptable REQUIREMENTS A. Educational Qualification
  • Minimum: OND / HND / BSc (any discipline)
  • Sales or customer service certification is an advantage
B. Work Experience
  • 1–3 years experience in sales, tele sales, or customer service
  • Experience in online sales or WhatsApp selling is an advantage

  • Persuasion and negotiation
  • Objection handling
  • Basic CRM or record-keeping skills
