JOB DESCRIPTION (JD) A. Job Title Sales Manager B. Reporting To Head of Sales & Marketing(Head of Sales & Marketing → CEO / Operations Manager) C. Job Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for managing, supervising, and optimizing all online sales activities across Akam Nature Care and TrionLife. This role oversees sales representatives and closers, handling online leads generated from ads, websites, social media, AdWords, and other digital channels. The Sales Manager ensures that all leads are followed up, abandoned customers are recovered, sales targets are met, and customers are retained through structured follow-up and retention systems. This role is results-driven, highly organized, and focused on conversion, retention, and revenue growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES A. Sales Team Management Supervise all online Sales Reps and Sales Closers Assign leads to sales reps daily Monitor response time, follow-up quality, and closing performance Step in to follow up customers abandoned or delayed by sales reps Ensure sales reps follow scripts, pricing, and company policies B. Lead Management & Follow-Up Manage all online leads from: Facebook & Instagram Ads Google Ads Websites & landing pages Social media inquiries Ensure 100% of leads are contacted Track lead stages (new, contacted, interested, closed, abandoned) C. Sales Closing & Revenue Growth Support sales reps to close difficult or high-value leads Personally handle high-value customers when required Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets are achieved D. Customer Retention & Relationship Management Design and execute customer retention systems: Products buyers list Distributor registration list Contract manufacturing clients list Ensure every customer is added to the correct follow-up list E. Structured Customer Follow-Up System Day 2: Appreciation message after purchase Day 7: Product usage or service follow-up Day 10: Discount or incentive for repeat purchase Ongoing: Periodic check-ins and promotional updates F. Reporting & Accountability Submit daily sales performance reports Submit weekly sales summary reports Submit monthly revenue and retention analysis Report sales activities to Head of Sales & Marketing/CEO DAILY / WEEKLY / MONTHLY KPIs. DAILY KPIs Lead follow-up rate: 100% Sales rep activity monitoring: Daily Response time to new leads: ≤10 minutes Daily sales report submission WEEKLY KPIs Weekly sales target achievement (minimum 80%) Recovery of abandoned leads Customer retention actions executed Sales reps performance review MONTHLY KPIs Monthly revenue target achieved Repeat purchase rate improvement Distributor registration growth Contract manufacturing client retention Sales team performance scorecard REQUIREMENTS A. Educational Qualification HND / B.Sc in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field Sales or CRM certifications are an added advantage B. Work Experience Minimum 3–5 years experience in sales At least 2 years managing a sales team Experience in online sales, call closing, or lead conversion C. Key Skills Required Strong leadership and supervision skills Sales closing expertise CRM and lead management experience Communication and persuasion skills Customer relationship management Reporting and data analysis Ability to work under pressure
