Job Summary
- We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver / Dispatch Rider to join our logistics team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, prompt, and efficient transportation of pharmaceutical products and other assigned items to customers, vendors, and business partners.
- The ideal candidate must adhere strictly to traffic regulations, pharmaceutical safety standards, and delivery schedules while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the prompt pickup and delivery of pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, and customers.
- Verify delivery contents, obtain delivery acknowledgments/signatures, and collect payments or cheques where required.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle or motorcycle.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and relevant documentation.
- Handle sensitive and temperature-controlled pharmaceutical products with care.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries.
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of products.
- Report accidents, mechanical faults, or delivery issues promptly.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- Valid Rider's Permit (Class A).
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience as a Dispatch Rider.
- Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and routes.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Basic knowledge of motorcycle maintenance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and responsibility.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive packages is an added advantage.
Salary
N120,000 monthly.
