HR Intern (Remote)

About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive, organized, and people-oriented HR Intern to join our team and support the effective delivery of day-to-day Human Resources activities.
• This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with 0–1 year of HR experience who is looking to build a strong foundation in Human Resources and gain practical exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, performance management, and HR reporting.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team and gain hands-on experience in supporting people-related processes within a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the recruitment process, including vacancy postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
• Assist with employee onboarding and preparation of relevant documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
• Support the administration of attendance, leave, probation, confirmation, and other employee records.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal HR activities.
• Support the preparation of HR reports, trackers, and workforce records.
• Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
• Support performance management and employee review processes.
• Respond to routine employee enquiries and escalate sensitive or complex matters appropriately.
• Conduct basic HR research and support HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
• Perform other HR-related duties assigned by the HR Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant HR experience, including internship or NYSC experience.
• Basic understanding of HR principles, processes, and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at different levels.
• A proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop professionally.
