Supply Chain Officer

Role Overview

• We are recruiting for the Supply Chain leadership development role at FoodCo Nigeria Limited, a leading multichannel retail company in Nigeria. Interested applicants must have core supply chain skills: understanding of supply chain fundamentals, basic understanding of logistics and distribution, strong data and analytics skills, be highly organized, process-driven, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills to ensure smooth procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Learning all aspects of supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
• Assisting in monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability across all outlets.
• Supporting the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other operational supplies.
• Understudying supply chain managers and supervisors to acquire both technical and soft skills.
• Assisting in vendor management, contract compliance, and supplier performance tracking.
• Supporting logistics operations including transportation planning, distribution, and delivery tracking.
• Learning to analyze supply chain data to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
• Assisting in preparing reports and dashboards for decision-making by management.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
• Learning to use supply chain and inventory management software for tracking, reporting, and analysis.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s dDegree / Higher National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum graduating GPA of second class upper / upper credit
• 0–2 years post NYSC experience.
• Age limit: 27 years.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic supply chain environment.
• Strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and positive attitude.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Familiarity with supply chain software and inventory systems is an added advantage.
