What will you be doing
- The Regional Account Manager is responsible for managing, retaining, and growing Argus’ existing customer base across West Africa.
- The role focuses on strengthening client relationships, expanding usage, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring long-term customer value and retention.
- The successful candidate will act as a trusted commercial partner to clients, developing deep relationships across accounts and driving revenue growth through renewals and expansion.
- Success will be measured through retention rates, account growth, customer engagement, and revenue expansion.
- The role reports to the Commercial Head; Africa and works closely with editorial, business development, customer success, and marketing teams.
- The Regional Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing existing clients across West Africa, focusing on retention, upselling, and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio of existing clients.
- Drive renewals and revenue growth.
- Identify upsell opportunities and expand accounts.
- Build strong client relationships across organisations.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years in account management or sales.
- Proven track record of retaining and growing accounts.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Commercial mindset with focus on growth.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong adaptability and ability to operate effectively in dynamic, multicultural, and emerging market environments.
